Job summary

AEP is seeking a Physical Security Project Mgr Associate to execute small security projects, manage scheduling, budgets, and performance, and communicate progress to stakeholders. This role requires collaboration with leadership, team members, and partners, and may include some travel to field locations.

The position is 70% onsite and 30% in the field, NOT remote, with a focus on cost optimization, quality, and delivering value while maintaining transparency on costs and delivery status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, planning and governance.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking finances.
• Lead planning meetings and provide status updates with concise written reports.
• Build and coach project team to deliver quality on time and budget.
• Communicate project details to stakeholders and manage risk.
• Provide guidance to improve design, systems, procedures, schedules, and costs.
• Assist the project team in timely performance of activities.
