Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 4+ years (M.S.) or 6+ years (B.S.) of experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: primary T-cell biology, iPSC culture, gene editing, lentiviral cell engineering, mRNA design/delivery, functional screening.
• Working knowledge of standard molecular biology techniques (cloning, qPCR, plasmid assembly).

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze experimental workflows to generate high-quality data packages for early discovery projects.
• Perform molecular biology techniques to support construct design, library assembly, and vector/mRNA preparation.
• Isolate, culture, and engineer primary human immune cells (e.g., T cells) and manage iPSC culture/differentiation workflows.
• Execute multi-color flow cytometry (panel design) and functional assays (cytokine profiling, cytotoxicity).
• Build, optimize, and run functional screening approaches (pooled/arrayed) for target evaluation.
• Troubleshoot assays, analyze data, and guide project decisions with data-driven insights.
• Present results to cross-functional teams and leadership; contribute to Lab operations at San Carlos site.
