Qualifications

• Ph.D, M.D., or equivalent advanced degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related scientific discipline with 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Hands-on expertise in molecular biology techniques and genetic modification of immune cells using viral and non-viral methods.
• Record of navigating drug discovery programs with milestone-driven data.
• Experience designing and executing complex cell-based immunology assays and navigating pooled or arrayed screens.

Responsibilities

• Drive early discovery strategy by evaluating literature and guiding internal pipeline decisions.
• Advance immune cell engineering platforms to deliver novel therapies for oncology and immunology indications.
• Build, optimize, and deploy high-throughput screening platforms.
• Develop robust, quantitative cell-based immunology assays to characterize potency.
• Lead hands-on in vitro and ex vivo studies to generate data packages for decisions.
• Mentor scientists, lead matrix teams, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
