BeOne Institute is seeking a strategic and adaptive Principal Scientist to lead early discovery programs in our biotech ecosystem in San Carlos, CA. You will balance bench execution with matrix leadership to shape our immunology and oncology pipelines.

The role requires hands-on lab work, data-driven decision making, and mentoring of junior scientists within a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration are essential as we advance high-potential modalities.

Formación

• Ph.D./M.D. or equivalent with 5+ years biotech/pharma industry experience.
• Hands-on molecular biology and immune cell engineering expertise.
• Experience with cell-based immunology assays and genetic screens.
• Proven ability to lead matrixed, cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Drive early discovery strategy and evaluate literature for pipeline decisions.
• Advance immune cell engineering platforms for oncology and immunology.
• Lead high-throughput screening platform development.
• Develop quantitative cell-based immunology assays.
• Lead hands-on in vitro and ex vivo studies to generate data packages.
• Mentor scientists and present data to stakeholders.
• Support operations at the San Carlos site.
