Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a School Social Worker to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development across two elementary schools and a preschool classroom. This onsite contract role in Michigan serves a caseload of about 40 students with a 37.5-hour week from late August 2026 through mid-May 2027.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams; conduct assessments; develop tailored intervention plans; support IEPs; and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Social Worker.
• Experience in school-based social work with elementary and preschool settings.
• Strong communication with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite social work services to promote student growth, engagement, and well-being.
• Assess students and create tailored intervention plans for individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support behavioral, social-emotional, and academic interventions.
• Provide resources and guidance to families, bridging home and school environments.
• Participate in meetings, contribute to IEPs, and maintain accurate documentation.
