Qualifications

• Valid 310 Certification required.
• Active MI School Social Worker (SSW) License.
• Current MI Educator Certification (no pending credentials).
• Experience or passion for elementary school settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social work services and interventions to elementary students.
• Assess student needs and develop strategies to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Partner with teachers, administration, and families to support student success.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions as appropriate.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student service planning.
