Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development in a 4th–5th grade building with about 195 students. The role involves delivering direct services, collaborating with teachers and families, and maintaining confidential records.

A Michigan state social work license (LARA) and approval for school practice with MDE are required. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:35am–3:30pm, and a caseload of about 15

Qualifications

Michigan state social work license (LARA) is required.
Approval for school social work practice through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is required.
Experience in schools or with elementary students is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct social work services and interventions to general education and special education students.
Conduct assessments and develop strategies to support at-risk students.
Lead small group interventions and use restorative practices when needed.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate services.
Maintain documentation in compliance with guidelines and timelines.
Provide crisis intervention and connect students and families with resources.
