Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Experience in K-12 school settings preferred.
• Strong advocacy, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
• Experience assessing student needs and developing intervention plans.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct social-emotional assessments and provide targeted interventions to students.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.
• Engage families and caregivers to maximize student success both in and out of the classroom.
• Connect students and families to relevant community services and mental health resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing immediate challenges.
• Maintain detailed, confidential records and comply with district and state reporting requirements.
