Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite contract in Michigan. You will work across two elementary schools and a preschool, delivering comprehensive social work services to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional growth.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement intervention plans and provide group and individual sessions.

Qualifications

• State-approved School Social Worker with MDOT or equivalent credential.
• Ability to work with elementary and preschool settings.
• Strong communication with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive school social work services to meet students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention plans.
• Provide one-on-one and group support sessions to help students manage challenges and grow.
• Support positive school climates and contribute to prevention and intervention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements.
