Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with school districts in Norfolk County, Massachusetts to hire a BCBA for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves providing behavioral support and consultation to students, collaborating with educators, families, and teams to implement effective behavior strategies across academics, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.

Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, data-driven decisions, IEP participation, and staff coaching.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree in ABA/ Psychology/ Special Education or related field.
• Massachusetts LABA license or eligibility.
• School-based BCBA experience preferred.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP implementation, special education compliance, and behavioral intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs.
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress and guide interventions.
• Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to teachers and classroom staff on behavior management and data collection practices.
• Assist in implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
• Support positive behavior supports and data-driven decision-making in the school environment.
