Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for onsite work in Norfolk County, MA, for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role involves conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success across academic and behavioral domains.

You will collect and analyze data, coach staff, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with IDEA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Massachusetts LABA license or eligibility for licensure.
• School-based BCBA experience preferred.
• Experience with FBAs and BIPs; knowledge of IDEA/IEP implementation and compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs.
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and guide intervention decisions.
• Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff on behavior management strategies and data collection practices.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal special education requirements.
• Support the implementation of positive behavior supports and data-driven decision-making practices throughout the school environment.
