Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must successfully complete orientation program.
• Preferred one year experience in outpatient physician practice or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule routine follow-up and treatment appointments, manage referrals and consults, handle no-shows, answer calls, and reschedule patients on bump lists.
• Ensure delivery of quality services by following policies, procedures, and standards; communicate with patients in a caring, respectful manner.
• Utilize and maintain the patient electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist with ongoing quality improvement to provide efficient, cost-effective care.
• Engage in continuous education to maintain skills and competency.
