Job summary

System One is seeking a Sample Registration Technician in Arvada, CO, onsite for a 5 month contract-to-hire role. You will handle receiving, logging, labeling, and tracking samples, ensuring compliance with DOT and COCs while supporting lab operations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to follow procedures in a fast-paced setting. Detail-oriented teamwork and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and sample tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify numbers and documentation accurately.
• Ability to follow written procedures and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (food service, retail, warehouse) is highly transferable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads incoming samples and verifies receipt against Chain of Custody (COC).
• Logs samples into the Lab Management System daily and assigns lot numbers.
• Labels samples and delivers to appropriate labs for analysis.
• Prepares bottle kits for shipping to clients and returns for analysis.
• Forwards samples to other labs as needed to run tests.
• Monitors temperatures in freezers and coolers to SOPs.
• Stocks supplies and assists with inventory maintenance.
• Assists in maintaining walk-in coolers for sample location.
