Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Tustin, CA is seeking a Sample Control Technician to join our team. You will log, label, and track samples, ensure Chain of Custody accuracy, and verify integrity and timing of samples for analysis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a fast paced environment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log in and label samples, and bottle orders for sign-in and analysis.
• Count samples to verify Chain of Custody accuracy and sample matching.
• Ensure samples are not broken and maintain sample integrity.
• Receive and sign the Chain of Custody and record times when releasing samples.
• Inspect samples for damage or violated hold times and maintain compliance.
• Communicate professionally with Project Managers, clients and couriers.
• Restock supplies and keep shipping/receiving area safe.
