Job summary

ACZ Laboratories in Steamboat Springs, CO seeks a dedicated Sample Receiving Technician for the shipping/receiving area. You will ensure correct labeling, logging, and documentation of incoming samples and perform initial measurements.

The ideal candidate has a background in environmental testing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent data handling and teamwork are valued at ACZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience in an environmental lab or analytical chemistry role is desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming samples according to procedures and COC requirements.
• Record preliminary measurements and verify labeling, container integrity, and temperatures.
• Enter information into LIMS and generate accurate labels.
• Maintain proper sample storage and inventory controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and SOPs.
