Job summary

System One in Shakopee, MN is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Lab Laborer for a contract-to-hire, onsite role. The position supports final quality checks on samples, labeling, packaging, and inventory tasks, with on-the-job training to grow within our lab and manufacturing support teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficiency in high school-level mathematics.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Create and assemble color samples (12 x 12) of façade and floor products.
• Inspect samples and verify quality through comparison with approved control samples.
• Clean, organize, and prepare samples for labeling.
• Label, package, and palletize finished samples for shipment or storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with sample inventory management to support sales and customer requirements.
• Participate in on-the-job training and continuous learning.
• Produce samples for tradeshows and customer orders.
• Assist with mailroom and loading dock duties as needed.
