Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in an environmental lab or analytical chemistry role is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Able to safely handle chemicals and follow SOPs.
• Proficient in data analysis software and Microsoft Office.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and document incoming samples per procedures and COC requirements.
• Inspect samples for labeling, identification, and container integrity; record preliminary measurements.
• Enter sample data into LIMS and generate labels.
• Maintain storage procedures and inventory controls; monitor custody and location of samples.
• Support safety compliance and adherence to SOPs; maintain cleanliness of the department.
