Job summary

Locus Robotics, based in North East, MD, is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer, Robotics, to be the face of our autonomous fleet at a customer site. The role requires daily on-site presence 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, optimize workflows, collect feedback, and collaborate with product and operations teams to drive uptime and performance. This is an opportunity to impact real-world warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
• 1+ years in warehouse ops, robotics, or technical customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with warehouse workflows and productivity metrics.
• Hands-on troubleshooting hardware/software and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite owner of the Locus robotic fleet and monitor system health.
• Proactively manage workflows to hit throughput targets and KPIs.
• Perform onsite robot troubleshooting and repairs to maintain uptime.
• Conduct onsite testing and performance analysis to support improvements.
• Provide feedback on performance, usability, and edge cases.
• Analyze throughput and utilization to generate insights and actions.
• Act as liaison between customer ops and internal teams.
• Help develop SOPs, playbooks for future deployments.
