Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Nursing Leader to manage the daily operations of the EE Health and Wellness department in Aurora. The role focuses on aligning departmental and organizational objectives, overseeing staff development, scheduling, and payroll, and ensuring budgetary and regulatory compliance.

The position requires RN licensure, a BSN (Masters preferred), and BLS certification, with at least one year of leadership in a clinical setting and two years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (state)
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Graduate from a baccalaureate school of nursing; master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the department to align with goals
• Lead staff development, mentoring, performance management, and scheduling/payroll
• Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations; justify needs for systems/equipment/supplies
• Address clinical issues and manage special projects and business analysis
• Demonstrate critical thinking and work with minimal supervision in fast-paced settings
