Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role includes 72.00 hours per pay period with a combination of shifts and is onsite only.

The position offers hourly pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71, dependent on experience, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment. Minimum requirements include RN licensure, ACLS and BLS, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• Registered Nurse.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• BLS certification (by American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department up to level 1 trauma designation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.
• Precepting and mentorship of new staff as applicable.
• Adhere to evidence-based care models and clinical education guidelines.
