Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Los Angeles is offering a Revenue Management Internship to explore the business side of hospitality and learn how hotels make key commercial decisions daily. You’ll work with seasoned leaders, gain exposure to hotel performance, and start developing analytical and business skills that drive results across a hotel portfolio.

The internship begins in June. This onsite program requires residency in the internship city for the duration, with hands-on experience in revenue

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Coursework in revenue management, finance, analytics, or related tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with good work ethic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and data interpretation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• This is an onsite internship; candidates must reside in the internship city for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel revenue and yield efforts through analysis and reporting across market segments and distribution channels.
• Assist with evaluating performance against budget, forecast, booking pace, and market demand.
• Help prepare short- and long-term reports, forecasts, and revenue analyses.
• Monitor key performance indicators, booking trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
• Participate in revenue strategy meetings and support special projects and ad hoc analysis.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when working with data and reports.
• Gain hands-on exposure to Revenue Management tools, systems, and strategies while learning from experienced Highgate revenue leaders.
