Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to assist walk-in customers at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations nationwide. You will provide hands-on tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support while engaging with the local community.

This on-site role requires at least 20 hours per week, with growth opportunities through local marketing and teamwork. Strong tax knowledge and customer focus are essential to help clients achieve positive financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week, weekends likely.
• Interest in creating local tax content and a marketing presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador and serve as local TurboTax face.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert to long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to maximize deductions and refunds.
• Utilize government resources, professional tools, and team expertise for accurate solutions.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, helpful service.
• Help clients plan financially for retirement, education, and major life events.
• Build long-term trust and relationships with local clients.
• Interact in-person and via TurboTax video tools; address inquiries.
