Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers, building a local client base and long-term relationships.

You’ll act as a community ambassador, delivering personalized tax guidance using TurboTax tools, while working a flexible, front-facing schedule in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador by representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals; connect with clients to build long-term relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s video tools; address inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges.
