Job summary

Career Team in Deep East Texas is seeking a Resource Room Specialist to triage customers, manage flow in the Workforce Solutions Center, and provide high-touch support under the Deputy Director.

You will greet visitors, guide them to services, assist with computers and assessments, review resumes, and connect clients with workshops and partners. This on-site role requires an associate degree and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or comparable experience.
• Knowledge of WIOA, TANF, and SNAP programs.
• Ability to listen to customers, analyze needs, and suggest solutions.
• Comfortable assisting customers with computers and office equipment.
• Ability to work with diverse customer base and be culturally sensitive.
• Ability to meet and/or exceed goals and objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Commitment to Extreme Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Workforce Solutions Center services.
• Greet visitors and ensure they are comfortable.
• Triage customers to meet their needs with exceptional service.
• Assist customers with computer use and online assessments.
• Critique resumes and letters of introduction; provide job search help.
• Re-engage customers by discussing services and benefits.
• Deliver presentations in person and virtually.
• Create workshop schedules and coordinate partner presentations.
• Book rooms for customers and maintain a welcoming center.
