Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business consulting, workforce development, or related field.
• Knowledge of the WIOA program and work-based learning requirements.
• Strong understanding of workforce solutions and employer engagement practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with businesses.
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose strategic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with local businesses and organizations through outreach to develop job orders and work-based learning opportunities.
• Plan and execute recruiting and hiring events for employers across industries and for diverse job seekers, including in-person and virtual formats.
• Collaborate with community and business partners to plan and execute recruiting events.
• Deliver presentations to employers and program participants about employment opportunities and labor market information.
• Assist in implementing new Business Services programs and services with employers.
• Negotiate and develop job opportunities and training agreements with businesses as needed.
• Interact with employers to create job orders and fill vacancies.
• Respond to and resolve local business needs with available resources.
• Track program participants and report on placements and partnerships.
