Job summary

Performance Team in the United States is seeking a seasoned Distribution Operations Leader to direct the day-to-day activities of a large distribution facility. You will ensure quality, productivity, safety, loss prevention and strong employee relations.

You will analyze operations, manage the facility P&L, coordinate drayage and delivery, and lead a team of both permanent and temporary staff to meet customer requirements and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree with extensive experience in transportation and warehousing.
• Proven leadership of large distribution or 3PL operations.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of a large distribution facility.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and loss prevention standards.
• Manage operating reports, budgets, and KPI achievement.
• Coordinate drayage, receiving, picking/packing, inventory, and shipping.
• Mentor and develop a mix of permanent and temporary staff.
