Job summary

CenterWell seeks a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator to schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with external providers. This is an onsite role requiring strong communication and organization in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will gather and relay all relevant information and preparation instructions to patients and referring providers, participate in TB screening, and support multilingual patients when needed. Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the Medicare population.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Proficient with medical terminology
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Excellent professional communication abilities, at all levels within the organization and with patients.
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside the primary care physician’s office.
• Gather and communicates all relative information and preparation instructions to patient and referring providers.
