Job summary

Qualifications

• Less than 3 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the Medicare population.
• Proficient with medical terminology and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Excellent professional communication abilities at all levels within the organization and with patients.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• TB screening participation required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures with specialists outside the primary care office.
• Gather and communicate all preparation instructions to patient and referring providers.
• Follow area/policy guidelines with some discretion on prioritization and timing.
