Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) within the Systems Engineering Center seeks Radar Systems Engineers in El Segundo, CA to design and develop advanced radar and sensor systems for defense programs. You will define architecture, develop requirements, perform analysis, and support integration across the full product lifecycle in a hands-on, on-site role.

Responsibilities include modeling, verification, test planning, and collaboration with hardware and software teams; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• > Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years in Systems Engineering with radar and requirements development.
• > Ability to obtain DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle including architecture, requirements allocation, traceability, and verification.
• Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
• Perform radar mode algorithm development and system performance assessments.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++.
• Collaborate across hardware/software teams and support flight/test activities.
