Job summary

RTX seeks Radar Systems Engineers in El Segundo, CA, to design and develop advanced radar and sensor systems for national defense. You will define architecture, develop requirements, and support integration across the full product lifecycle in a classified environment. Onsite role with eventual travel up to 10%.

Requirements include a STEM degree and a Secret clearance; experience with MATLAB, Python, DOORS, and system-level analysis is expected. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2+ years in Systems Engineering with radar design and requirements development.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle: CONOPS, architecture, requirements allocation and verification.
• Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
• Perform radar mode algorithm development and system performance assessments.
• Model, simulate, and analyze data using MATLAB and Python; support hardware/software integration and lab testing.
• Support verification, flight/test activities, and MBSE-based system design.
