Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Products & Solutions Mission Area in El Segundo seeks Radar Systems Engineers to design and validate sensor systems and radar programs for national security applications.

You will work with experienced engineers to define system architecture, develop requirements, perform analysis and modeling, and support integration, testing and flight activities across the full product lifecycle. This role is onsite in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 5+ years in Systems Engineering for radar.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.
• Experience with radar algorithm design and requirements development.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and requirements allocation across lifecycle.
• Develop radar mode algorithms and assess system performance.
• Model, simulate, and analyze data with MATLAB and Python.
• Support hardware/software integration and lab testing.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings; travel up to 10%.
