Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, California, seeks a Radar Systems Engineer to contribute across the systems engineering lifecycle. Onsite work, DoD clearance required, and relocation assistance is available. You will develop radar algorithms, perform analyses, and present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include modeling, simulation, and verification in a classified lab, with engagement in hardware/software integration and field activities. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with radar algorithms, requirements development, and integration.
• Secure work with MATLAB, Python, and C++.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full systems engineering lifecycle including CONOPS and requirements allocation.
• Develop and verify system requirements using DOORS and traceability.
• Radar mode algorithm development and system performance assessments.
• Modeling, simulation, and data analysis with MATLAB, Python, and C++.
• Lab environment testing, hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for stakeholders.
• Travel up to 10%.
