Job summary

Astrodyne TDI, LLC is seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor in Hackettstown, NJ to lead daily in-process inspections and safeguard product integrity across production lines. You will oversee inspectors, maintain protocols, monitor critical control points, and partner with Production and Engineering to implement corrective actions.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing quality, proficiency with measurement tools, and a focus on audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality control/assurance in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and inspection requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, GMP or equivalent.
• Hands-on with calipers, micrometers, gauges and other tools.
• Experience with visual inspection and in-process verification.
• Strong documentation and cross-department communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily in-process inspections across multiple lines.
• Develop and maintain inspection protocols and sampling plans.
• Monitor critical control points and address deviations in real time.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Train and mentor inspectors on techniques and documentation.
• Review inspection records for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Lead daily quality huddles to share priorities and findings.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation and data.
• Track quality findings and drive defect-reduction initiatives.
