Job summary

HYTORC is seeking an Incoming Inspector Lead in Mahwah, NJ to oversee daily incoming inspections, guide a team of inspectors, and ensure materials meet engineering drawings and supplier requirements. You will review certificates of conformance, material data, and test reports, while supporting CAPA and audit readiness.

The role requires 3–5 years in quality inspection, familiarity with GD&T and ISO standards, and the ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in incoming inspection, quality inspection, supplier quality, or related roles.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015; ASQ certifications preferred.
• Experience with supplier quality documentation and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily incoming inspection activities and review inspection records.
• Perform receiving inspection of components, materials, assemblies, and supplier products.
• Inspect using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges, go/no-go gauges, torque tools, multimeters, etc.
• Identify, segregate, and control nonconforming material; support containment and supplier actions.
• Assist development and improvement of inspection plans and methods.
• Train and guide incoming inspectors and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Support audits with inspection records and traceability documentation.
