Job summary

Talent Traction is seeking a Quality Manager for an on-site facility in Rochester, NY. You will own the QMS, lead two quality engineers and two inspectors, and act as the primary customer interface on quality matters.

You will drive root cause corrective actions, audits, and supplier/customer quality activities to ensure AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance, aiming for defect reductions and higher customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as quality manager or 7+ years as quality engineer in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 / IPC-A-600 / IPC-6012 in production.
• Experience administering AS9100 or ISO 9001 QMS with audit leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the Quality Management System for the facility and interface with customers on quality matters.
• Lead a team of two quality engineers and two inspectors; manage staffing and scheduling.
• Spend time on the production floor to stay close to the work and drive improvements.
• Lead root cause corrective actions and internal/third-party audits.
• Oversee supplier and customer quality activities and ensure AS9100/ISO 9001 compliance.
• Strive for reductions in defects and improved customer satisfaction.
