Job summary

Astrodyne TDI in New Jersey is seeking a Quality Supervisor to guard product integrity on the manufacturing floor. You will lead a team of inspectors to ensure components and processes meet rigorous specifications before moving to the next stage.

This role drives inspection protocols, mentors staff, analyzes deviations, and partners with production and engineering to implement corrective actions, audits, and robust documentation to sustain our quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality control or QA within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, GMP or industry regulations.
• Hands-on experience with measurement tools and visual inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily in-process inspections across production lines to ensure compliance with quality standards and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain inspection protocols, checklists, and sampling plans tailored to each product line.
• Monitor critical control points and address deviations in real time to prevent non-conforming products from advancing.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor quality inspectors on inspection techniques, measurement tools, and documentation best practices.
• Review and approve inspection records, ensuring accuracy and completeness for audit readiness.
• Lead daily quality huddles to communicate priorities, share findings, and reinforce quality culture.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, data, and process demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inspection protocols, checklists, and sampling plans tailored to each product line.
• Monitor critical control points and address deviations in real time to prevent non-conforming products from advancing.

• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and clear reporting.
• Proficiency in using quality management systems (QMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000
