Job summary

ABB Inc. in Hackettstown, New Jersey is hiring a Quality Engineer to manage operational supplier quality on-site and off-site. You will lead supplier assessments, drive corrective and preventive actions, and manage supplier KPIs.

The role requires ISO 9001 experience and Six Sigma certification is a plus, with up to 10% travel. The work model is onsite at Hackettstown, NJ. You will coordinate multiple Quality, Opex, SCM, and Manufacturing activities, supporting audits and PPAP processes, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years in Quality, Opex, SCM or Manufacturing.
ISO 9001 experience or oversight for QMS; Six Sigma certification preferred.
Up to 10% travel is required.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects.
Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Assess and address customer issues in PARRS; improve FPY, cycle time and DPPM across Hackettstown product lines.
Identify equipment and methods to measure product/process quality; maintain safety and housekeeping.
Support quality planning, audits, ISO 9001 compliance; review non-conforming parts; problem investigation and corrective actions.
Drive supplier PPAP approvals and collaborate with suppliers on product/process improvements.
