Job summary

RTX is constructing an Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) in its Asheville, NC factory. We seek an experienced Cell Leader to assist with site startup on-site and to drive long-term production planning and continuous improvement.

Role emphasizes leadership, safety, quality, and cost reduction within a lean manufacturing framework. Onsite role with collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach in a dynamic operations environment.
• Assist with startup of the Advanced Casting Foundry in Asheville.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and direction of skilled employees; drive engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality, procurement and cost reduction.
• Manage daily supervisor duties, project management and cross-functional execution.
• Establish work schedules aligned with customer requirements and resource availability.
