A Buyer position is available onsite in Greenfield, IN, under Aston Carter's staff. The role focuses on high-volume, detailed manual data entry, handling large multi-line purchase orders, and ensuring data accuracy within ERP systems. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Experience buying or purchasing in manufacturing.
• Manages multi-line PO and high-volume data entry.
• Familiarity with ERP implementations.
• Strong Excel and Outlook proficiency.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter large, multi-line purchase orders accurately.
• Process ~20 POs per day with 100–150 lines each.
• Follow standard work procedures and guidelines.
• Use Excel for data entry, tracking, and basic analysis.
• Use Outlook for professional communication.
• Provide timely updates to orders and resolve issues.
• Convert purchase requisitions to POs promptly.
• Support inventory purchasing aligned with stock levels.
• Use ERP to enter and manage POs and data.
• Maintain data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Multitask across orders to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Follow up on order status and resolutions.
• Hold partners to purchasing processes when needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and safety footwear.
