Job summary

Block Multifamily Group is seeking a Community Manager in Des Moines, IA to lead the onsite team and oversee all aspects of the property's performance, including occupancy, revenue, and resident experience.

You will recruit, train, and motivate staff, implement effective marketing and leasing strategies, ensure strong online presence, and maintain high service levels while adhering to applicable laws and company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property management with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of property management software (Yardi preferred) and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the community to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Recruit, train, and develop onsite team members.
• Drive occupancy, revenue, and NOI via leasing and pricing strategies.
• Develop marketing strategies and manage online presence.
• Oversee resident experience and coordinate maintenance and service delivery.
