Qualifications

• Real estate license in Iowa or plan to obtain within 3 months.
• Several years of progressive property management experience.
• Ability to collaborate with owners to set goals and budgets.
• Experience with affordable properties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple communities in central Iowa.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure property maintenance.
• Review leasing and occupancy activity.
• Make recommendations to maximize NOI.
• Hire and supervise on-site managers and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain resident relationships and handle escalated issues.
• Assist in contract negotiations and renewals with ownership and staff.
• Meet with regional managers, owners, or boards.
• Monitor vendor contracts and performance.
