Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a proactive Community Manager in Des Moines, IA to lead daily operations, manage rent collections, and guide a local team. You will oversee leasing, vendor relations, community events, and maintain property standards to ensure safety and satisfaction of residents.

Ideal candidates have a driver’s license, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and preferred property management experience. A strong communicator with leadership skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Property management or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations including rent collections and resident relations.
• Lead and develop the on-site team; conduct regular team meetings.
• Manage marketing, sales, leasing, and turnover of homes to maintain high occupancy.
• Develop relationships with vendors and local authorities to support community operations.
• Coordinate events and ensure property standards are upheld.
• Communicate community progress and issues to leadership and residents.
• Attend company trainings and meetings as required.
