Job summary

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required certifications by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the maintenance department and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation promptly so service requests are tracked.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using tools properly.
