Job summary

Greystar is seeking a motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to uphold the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal), state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I & II or Universal) required.
• All required State and Local certifications must be in place for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials: tracks inventory, reorders items, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor.
• Documents work orders timely and accurately to ensure traceability.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.

Education

EPA Type I & II or Universal refrigerant certification

State/Local certifications as required

Valid driver’s license
