Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring they meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose issues, perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage inventory, document requests, and assist with safety and cost-control initiatives across the property.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source of defects from resident service requests and repair per policy and safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, inspect, and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track inventory and access materials from the property’s maintenance department, return unused items, and notify for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and in a timely fashion for proper tracking.
• Assist in grounds/amenities upkeep, cleaning, painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
