Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community buildings, grounds, and amenities in top condition. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and help prepare vacant units for leasing while upholding Greystar standards for safety and quality.

You will conduct preventative maintenance, respond to resident requests with professionalism, and assist with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with residents and colleagues.
• Familiarity with basic computer software; property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair work orders and routine upkeep based on resident requests.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, building exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work for quality and coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
• Assist in budgeting for regular maintenance and capital projects; support safety programs.
