Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a community in California. You will supervise staff, manage vendors, and ensure safety and quality in repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, coordinating work orders, inspecting properties daily, and maintaining records. The role requires on-site presence, OSHA awareness, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC preferred.
• Basic computer skills to use on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for the community including service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Manage staff and vendors to ensure timely work and safety compliance.
• Plan and monitor maintenance budgets and inventory.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas daily for hazards.
• Respond to resident/management requests and close work orders.
• Participate in on-call emergency coverage.
• Maintain records of service requests, make-ready status, and work in progress.
