Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Specialist to oversee and perform technical work ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained community spaces. You will diagnose and repair defects, manage the make-ready process for vacants, and uphold high Greystar standards across grounds, exteriors, and common areas.

This role requires tools and safety knowledge, with responsibility for coordinating with vendors, managing supplies, and supporting budgetary goals while delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management; maintenance system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on property components per standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Develop and uphold standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by service team and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and procure supplies within budget; perform monthly preventive maintenance.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Conduct safety meetings; ensure OSHA compliance and MSDS accessibility.
• Provide courteous service to residents and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns.
