Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to keep interiors, grounds and common areas clean, safe, and functional across our communities. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and oversee the make-ready process for vacant units to support leasing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and related maintenance experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in resident services and community areas following safety rules and codes.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by others and by contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance as outlined in manuals.
• Support safety meetings and stay updated on OSHA requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to inquiries promptly.
