Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Greenwood Village, Colorado to perform and oversee building upkeep, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will complete work orders, coordinate with contractors, manage supplies, help prepare units for leasing, and participate in budget planning and safety training. This role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of tools, and strong customer service; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; able to use hand/power tools safely.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; strong mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication with residents and team members.
• Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA rules, and ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and routine maintenance across the community.
• Oversee make-ready process, inspect units, schedule vendors, and complete tasks per policy.
• Set cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by others and contractors; ensure quality and compliance with specs.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Complete monthly preventive maintenance and participate in safety meetings.
• Assist Community Manager with budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle resident questions promptly.
